There are special events in life, which could be as simple as a YouTube video link! Which can fundamentally change your life, provided you are aware and take action. This is one such event, which lead to deep contemplation and insights as the dots connected.
Akashic records:
One of my close friends, 'D' sent me some YouTube links on akashic records, astrology etc. i briefly saw them. And that set me thinking.
1. Significance of astrology.
2. Past present and future
3. Fate.
Astrologers:
I see lot of people going to astrologers etc. To check when their desires will be fulfilled. Afterall everyone wants to be happy, and we think when we have something, we will be happy. We are conditioned to think this way, which is the primary reason, we will never be eternally happy!
Prarabdha and purushartha:
I was wondering about the paradox of purushartha (free will) and prarabhda (pre decided). Why there these ancient sciences developed?
Why astrology:
1. To find the natural strengths and weakness.
2. To find the default Programming. (Which can be changed by various methods.)
Expert astrologer:
Just like you need an expert driver for f1 racing, you need an expert in these areas, who has dedication and a non commercial approach and genuinely wants to help everyone.
Meeting in the 20s.
I was fortunate to meet a spiritual astrologer in my 20s who composed a special mantra of ishtadevas for me. This mantra is not available any where on the internet. This was next level work. (I never did anything much about it, as i was not ready.)
Larger good:
I thought, with all the insights and tools, why not use the information for larger good, rather than just being selfish on using it for small desires of money, home etc.
Attachment and attraction:
The paradox here is that the less you are attached, the faster you will attract, as you are aligned to the nature of giving, not taking.
Giving is nature, nature is giving:
In nature, clouds rain for the plants and animals and rivers and seas. Fruits are for animals and birds, not for the trees. Everything is nature is giving, except for humans, who constantly want to take! And in the desires one has, attached to roles, one goes into the emotional roller coaster!
Can death be predicted by astrology:
Let's take a simple example of time of death. Today's astrology restricts the time of life to within 100 years. However yogi changdev, telang Swami, devraha baba and many others exceeded this time span easily. In fact in maha bharata, there are references of bhishma being more than 100 years old in the war. This means, using the self realisation and right tools and techniques, the life span was extended way beyond 100 years.
In contrast, some enlightened souls like Vivekananda, dyneshwar mauli and others have taken samadhi at a young age.
The common factor in all these great souls is that irrespective of their lifespan, their focus was on playing the role and working for well being of all, without asking anything much for themselves.
Default program:
The charts etc. show your default program, which you yourself have set. Before taking this form. It is an illusion that has set it. The illusion of life and death. The illusion of karma.
No karma in adwaita:
From an adwaita viewpoint, there is no karma, as the doer, act of doing and the object are the same! Who will do an action to what then? This is the end of karmic cycle. This is felt in meditation in no thoughts stage.
Thoughts as duality:
thoughts represent duality as you have a thought about something else. Like the head, the sea, the body, the tv, a friend, what was said etc. A state of no thoughts represent adwaita.
Once this is clear. Just be in the anahata naada and the kriya states, which are described as given below.
1. Eyebrows raised
2. Focus on fontanelle.
3. Keep Awareness of breath
4. Laghu Khechari mudra.
5. Hear Anahata naada within.
6. Feel the vibrations and see the light within.
I recommend everyone does kriya yoga. It's a game changer.
What is changing:
The experience of the mind, dreams, past, future, the akashic records, time is ever changing, hence not Brahman.
Mukti is freedom:
Be aligned to brahaman. Sat chit anantam. Not anandam as it's emotional and is felt after the self realisation. Just be in kriya states. And be thoughtless. You are in samadhi, even when awake. As you are aware, you are playing you role. That's all. That is freedom.
Distractions in spiritual path:
In the discourse in prayagraj, Guruji specifically told not to bother about akashic records, astral travel etc as the are a distraction! As the are ever changing. And we are after something that is ever constant!
Recent insights:
I checked my palms, kundali, tarot cards, vastu etc, recently after 30 years, as the game is now to build a 100 cr company in 5 years to add 20x times value to everyone's life, from current level. The goal is to "give" in this material world. Hence the energies need to be channeled properly.
Business growth with spiritual clarity:
Many see spiritual path as a way to detach from the material world. The objective of not to detach, but to contribute with thoughts, actions and words! Awareness in doing, abundance in being, acceptance in having, is the key. If by reaching a state, one can not help others, it is like a sharp knife lying useless, unused.
Anahata naada:
To be detached from the results, the mind needs an anchor. This is nothing but anahata naada for me! As being in constant anahata naada fundamentally alters the frequency of your being, the effects of planets as per astrological charts become lesser and lesser. Ultimately reaching a point, there they have no effect at all.
Kundali gives you insights into life experiences:
I see the kundali has a set of vibrations of the self, as it manifests in the material world. When one decides to have experiences and takes a human form, the astrological chart is a good tool to understand what these experiences, decided were!
What i learnt:
I now have an insight on the default Programming. I also have the subconscious mind tools to alter this inner programming. I have the anahata naada to anchor my mind at all times. The chitta vrittis or the thoughts arising out of memories are silenced by kriya yoga. What else do i want?
Ishtadevta:
I have simple learnings, insights on ishtadevta, life experiences to co relate etc. That were missing earlier!
Vision:
My only visualisation now is a 100 cr annual turnover company and to achieve this goal, i need a healthy body, a stable mind, my own captial, strong connected team at home and office. These are all aligned to a single goal now. Aligning all goals to a single goal is the key i learnt from my dear friend Rohit.
Rohit and this vacations:
Rohit, my classmate in think and grow rich training program, declared his only and only goal as taking a vacation in Europe. I had so many goals for health, wealth, family time etc. And here he is, declaring only one goal! When i asked him why? He says he enjoys vacations and seeing different places. So the family plans together every evening. He has so walk a lot for sightseeing, means he has to be fit. He has to have the money to spend, setting his financial goal. He beautifully aligned all goals to a single goal that he loves to do! This is a big lesson. Just align your goals to something you like! Thats all!
Without realising, he is helping the economy where he travels and as his business grows, he supports more and more families.
Ultimately, whether you realise or not, its all about giving. Just align the giving to your passion!
Why ishtadevta:
Ishtadevta is similar to needing water to drink, while moisture present in the air is similar to om. You can not drink water vapour!! To make things usable, use the tools, like a machine to convert moisture to water! There is one available! This machine is ishtadevta. This was one of the valuable lessons learnt in kriya yoga initiation.
Order of power.
The hierarchy of power does something like this.
Myself in the body energy and mind domains
Next level is planets
Next is devtas
Next is ishta devta
Next is gurus
Next is om consciousness. Formless.
I may have missed a few levels, but it's ok. This is to set the context for next topics.
Going by the above sequence, aligning to ishtadevta and gurus is the key. The same is the foundation of kriya yoga too.
How i found by ishtadevta:

Compatible partners and friends:
Two persons with the same ishtadevta are likely to be very compatible, Good friends, and supporting to each other. They may not be life partners. It does not matter. As the energies are aligned, irrespective of the age, gender, location and status, the closeness can be experienced immediately.
Atmakaraka:
This indicates the planet responsible for the souls journey in this lifetime. This can be found from astrology charts.
However, my view is slightly different. Rather than focusing on atmakaraka, to know ones default programming, why not focus on ishtadevta, which is at a higher level, to play the roles properly to give massive value addition to everyone's life?
Other methods to finding ishtadevta:
I found the other methods of intuition, attraction to a devta, usually mind plays, until one is absolutely clear within, which is rare. So the one that comes from precise calculations seems definately better.
My ishtadevtas:
Sri Ganesha and Surya Narayana have gracefully emerged as my benevolent Ishta Devata.
There are many co relations to this pair of ishta devtas:
1. Intuition to start homa and getting guidance to start maha ganapati homa, which is a combination of Ganesha and fire (sun). Last year.
2. The mantra i recieved early in life, which is a special composition of Ganesha, with a beeja mantra for surya. 30 years back.
3. Darshan of ashtavinayak, to make the path ahead to bring our kids into this world. 20 years back
4. Ganesh festival started automatically in our office, when the first office i took, the society did not have space! 30 years back.
5. When i integrate the ishta devta mantra, into kriya pranayama, i get more focus, more energy. Since 3 months
6. As i integrate with my life with ishtadevtas, i can see massive transformations in all aspects of life. Since 3 months
Rapid progress in life after integrating ishtadevta mantra into chanting. Since 3 months.
Positive or neutral:
1. As one follows ishtadevta, the results are quite immediate. One does not have to wait for long. This is postive.
2. There is a possibility of identifying a wrong ishtadevta based on incorrect birth chart details. This can be identified with the fact that Upasana of this ishtadevta does not yield results. This is neutral.
3. Rarely the deities you pray to are negative. In general as a rule, if you are praying to vibrant forms like bhairava, kali etc..it is best to get initiated from a master. So that the correct process is followed.
Fulfillment:
Blessed by ishtadevta, the tremendous desire to give, takes me to a state, where I am formless, playing the role, desiring nothing, with a goal to give massively, not asking anything for self. As whatever is needed, is already there!
Kuldevta:
This is the devta, to whom, your ancestors have prayed. Blessings from ancestors are a must. As you pray to ancestors and kuladevta, the path to taking action becomes clearer.
Prayer:
By the grace of ishtadevta, kuldevta and gurus, i am a jeevanumukta. Let me me a medium to add massive value to everyone's life while gaining true and clear knowledge, having judgement and power to take action and access to the best resources available.
