The decision NOT to write a book by Vidyadaan! Into the mission one million journey since 2019.

A book that was never written

4 close friends, decide to write a book - their own books, not a joint book, meet many times in past 2 years and never get to writing it! sounds familiar? Well, I am one of the 4 friends mentioned here! My son asks me, whenever we meet, "are you going for book writing" and laughs. We share a good laughter together, we meet, we speak, but we never got to writing the book.

Why not write a book. Why a website

I have nothing against authors and publishers. They are doing, what they deem the best. In fact most of my knowledge has come from books, online or offline. I have the following reasons

• Book is static. Website is not. Material keeps getting added to the website.

• Books are usually sold. I have no intention to charge anything for this information. I have not created it, though in legal sense I am the copyright holder. I am just a medium. That's all. I come from a sanatana culture there Vidya daan is done, not charged for.

• I have other sources of income, which makes me free to publish this openly. I recognise and appreciate that for some authors and publishers, it's the only way to earn. I respect that.

• People say, what is not paid for, has no value. I differ.

• Usually spending money to get information is a barrier to reach the masses. I have removed that barrier and made the information freely available.

• I can not add videos to the book. It needs an electronic medium like internet to add links etc.

• The pain of finding a title, a publisher, an editor, is too much. And the upfront costs are more. I can feed a few hundred hungry people in that amount.

• I can't give cross references easily, only ref. names can be given, which can't be checked easily. Here i can give links.

• Books normally establish a person as an authority. I don't seek any title or recognition for the works. Hence the website and the blogs and not a book!

Mission one million is about creating a million insights in fellow souls who read this content and discover something about themselves. No one should struggle the way I did to find this information.

Disillusionment was the start.​

A journey that started with deep disillusionment in 2018 with "friends", who threated to send me a legal notice! this lead to the study of the subconscious mind, followed by the development of "migenie" a sub conscious mind platform during pandemic, and the study of the self during the second lockdown.

The blogs continued

As the journey continued, the resolve to make things easier for everyone became stronger, leading to around 50+ blogs, which ultimately lead to organizing the content in this website!

A very fruitful 4 years,

What a journey into self discovery in just around 4 years! This website is a honest attempt to share my experiences, as Adiguru Shankaracharya says.

Dont just believe, Study, reflect, debate, understand, refer, write, experience and then believe that experience!

I am only a medium

Everything that was ever created, will be created or is being created, was already existing. We are only mediums to observe and learn and sometimes transform the energy and matter into a different combination of energy and matter. Hence there is no ego, hence no point in taking any credit for anything.

Why this website.

The basic principles of self discovery and self management are distributed in many sources. The application of fundamental principles is not clear in todays day to day life, leading to confusion, frustration, impacting health and well being by increased stress.

This compilation is relevant in todays world as it merges the ancient knowledge, the modern challenges and has practical methods to produce lasting results.
