Today on Ganesh chaturthi, Let us understand some subtle aspect of lord Ganesha.
Satguru shree Dyneshwar maharaj in his Dyneshwari describes the cosmic nature of lord Ganesha in 19th ovi of the first adhyaya.
अकार चरणयुगुल | उकार उदर विशाल |
मकार महामंडल | मस्तकाकारे || १९ ||
Dual Feet are the sound aa
Gigantic stomach sound uu
The head is the sound mm
This is the universal sound of aum. (Not om, as we say it) the sound that has existed eternally.
When drawn on paper, this forms the vedic om symbol. Rotated horizontally, clockwise, it forms the pauranic om as we know it.
Aum existed before creation. Aum is the sound without vibration. The sound of the cosmos itself...that fills space and matter both. The three parts represent knowledge, energy and bliss.
When we pray to lord Ganesha, to begin anything new, we invoke the cosmic energy itself, to see it successfully through.
Hence the name vighnaharta.
Lord Ganesha is associated with color red. The color of muladhara chakra. The chakra to activate the cosmic energy to achieve all goals and be fearless.
Shree Ganeshaya namaha Let this auspicious occasion mark a new beginning and bring health wealth and prosperity for you And your family.
