Day before yesterday, in the journey to anandmaya kosha, was told about sakha bhakti and madhuram madhuram composition by Shri vallabhacharya by Smithaa, an evolved soul, who connected for a purpose.
Thank you so much Smithaa for this lovely insight.
You can listen to the composition here.

Sakha bhav (friendship) bhakti of lord Krishna has no barriers. Just as friends don't have any inhibitions between them. This is pure form of bhakti which is pure manifestation of adwaita, one ness
Gopas And Arjuna had sakha bhakti. Gopis and Meera had madhura bhakti.
As I chant madhurashatakam, everything is madhuram madhuram.
It just came to me, that other than the ones mentioned in the ashtakam, The world, the koshas, the purshusrthas, the pranas, the gunas, the dhatus, the emotions, the relationships, the observer observed and observing, the aumkar. The formless, the freedom, the eternal, the senses, Everything that is mentioned in atmashatakam is madhuram madhuram.
Madhuram is sweetness, the sweetness of love. It's very profound, internal and captures all senses, as they get aligned... Focused.
Let's see how the senses are focused on the divine. All the 5 methods given below are also mentioned in the 112 methods of bhairav tantra text.
Vision is focussed on the image of the lord. Imagine your or any child dressed as Krishna, as it's easier to do so, as you can relate faster...then move the focus to the lips of lord Krishna, then the smile and then the joy itself. This is done by focusing on the third eye chakra.
Taste is focussed on the madhur butter given by lord Krishna. Recall the taste of sweet butter (not salted amul butter!) the sweetness of butter which dissolve into the joy of the sweetness. This is done by focusing on the tip of the tongue.
Hearing is focussed on the sound of flute, the various tunes. Recall the sound of the flute playing, then move to the underlying sound of aum, like the tanpura, the humming, the unstuck sound. This is done by focusing on the root of the toungue in the throat. If you are hearing aum eternally, (see a previous blog), this is very easy.
Touching is focussed to the smooth dark skin of lord Krishna. The skin is baby soft. Recall the softness you felt, while holding a small baby. The softness blends into a feeling of joy, then only joy remains. By focusing on the middle part of the tongue. (Though touch sensation is everywhere, its centre is here).
Smell the Gopi chandan fragrance coming form Krishna. Focus on the fragrance of sandalwood. Immerse into the fragrance. The joy of the fragrance remains. Focus on the point inside the nose, where you have the sense of smell.
Once the 5 senses get aligned to the divine, all material objects or pleasures become tiny. The joy, peace and love in the alignment of senses to the divine is supreme.
These all can be experienced very easily. This is not something to be read about. It's like riding a bicycle vs reading about it. And it's very simple to do. Experience it yourself.
Thoughtless state with gyana marga and yoga marga is not easy for everyone. As the mind keeps getting distracted by thoughts. In bhakti, which is after gyana, the mind through senses, gets occupied in the divine itself. Much more easier to do in today's world.
However, just as knowing about the ornaments is not enough, one must know about the difference between gold and brass, knowledge of adwaita gyana is essential to reach this state of bhakti.
As dyneshwar mauli says. "Alshi mandamati kevi tare". Meaning the lazy and the dumb can't make it. This path needs persistence, patience and study.
As I immerse myself into madhuram madhuram, i find greater peace, greater joy within.
Wishing you the abundance of being with the lord in madhura madhuram, the doing with awareness with all senses and actions focused on the lord with madhuram madhuram, the having with acceptance without expectations with the lord with madhuram madhuram.
