As kids, we played games. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost, but we continued playing, not taking things seriously, while being safe. The play mattered, not the prize.
As we grew up, the prize became more important than the play. The fear of losing out, the greed of more took over. It was then no longer about the play, it was only and only about the prize.
Thinking a little more, what it our life, as compared to the time and size of the universe? Absolutely nothing!
Then why are we bothered about the prize, the opinion of others, the stress, the struggle, the pain, the prize?
We are attached to the prize, as we have forgotten the play, to enjoy the present, while analysing the past and worrying about the future.
Be in the present. Enjoy the play. That is all that matters. At the end of the game, the attachement to prize matters the least, as it will mean nothing, millions of years from now. What will matter is how you enjoyed the game.
In sheemad bhagwat gita, in the famous shloka "karmanye vadhika raste", the lord says, don't attach yourself with the result. Focus on the play, for the prize, to win, put your full energy and passion in it. If the prize comes, does not come, or is delayed, just continue to play. Act for the result, play to win, but don't attach yourself to the result. Attachment manifests as fear or greed...It is the attachment that takes away the ananda of the present.
Play. With your heart in it. Play now. Play bigger. Play Play with full energy. Play. That's all that matters!

I dont agree on this point...Focus is the ultimate goal so how can the benefits of been focussed be non beneficial ...its a give n take in my opinion
